Bloody Point Golf Club is located on idyllic Daufuskie Island, which is situated between Hilton Head Island, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia, and is accessible only by boat. Located at the southernmost tip of Daufuskie Island, Bloody Point has a history and beauty all its own. Ever since the eighteenth-century skirmishes that earned it its name, Bloody Point’s land has been highly sought-after. From its immaculate beaches to its forest trails and diverse wildlife, Bloody Point is a haven, offering refuge from overdeveloped civilization.
Against this breathtaking backdrop, Bloody Point Golf Club blends effortlessly into its natural environment. The championship 18-hole golf course, recently renovated by Love Golf Design, the design company of Davis Love III, boasts ocean, river, lagoon, and marshland views, and is home to countless species of wildlife. The beachfront pool offers direct access to wide, secluded beaches that offer sanctuary to nesting sea turtles. The Eagle’s Nest Restaurant, named for the bald eagle’s home on the 6th hole, features ocean and river sunset views and world-class dining. A brand-new dock, with water taxi service to Savannah, Georgia, sits off of the 17th green and reaches out into the Mungen Creek, permitting an unobstructed vista of neighboring Tybee Island and Savannah.
Bloody Point Golf Club offers members and resort guests the chance to enjoy luxurious amenities amidst this natural beauty. After coming under new ownership in 2011, the Club has experienced a total renovation. The 9,000 square foot Clubhouse is host to The Eagle’s Nest Restaurant and Bar, Pro Shop, General Store, and men’s and women’s locker rooms. The newly completed Osprey Cottage features beautiful overnight accommodations with seven bedrooms and one common area, as well as extensive views of the golf course and surrounding property.
We invite you to experience the beauty for yourself. We’d love to introduce you to our corner of Daufuskie Island and the lifestyle we offer. Make Bloody Point your "home away from home"!
